2013 Kawasaki Motocross KX 85

The 2013 Kawasaki KX85 is powered by a two-stroke 84cc engine and its race-proven features are an advanced chassis package with a 36mm cartridge fork that has 18-way compression damping adjustability and settings in challenging the tracks.

The tractable power are the Kawasaki Integrated Power-Valve System (KIPS®) and tuned exhaust pipe that provides better drive out of corners, comparing with previous KX 85, and a linear power delivery for young riders of varying skill levels.

In the same class such as KTM 85 SX, it has optimized fuel atomization and smoother fuel delivery throughout the powerband with an electrofusion-coated cylinder with a narrow squish band, a large-volume combustion chamber to boost top-end power, and a 28mm Keihin carburetor featuring a crescent-shaped slide.

The Uni-Trak® shock in back features fully adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping for superior rear wheel control, and all that suspension is a black-painted, high-tensile steel perimeter frame with a specially designed fuel tank sitting inside the cage to keep the fuel load and the center of mass as low as possible for improved handling.

A Short Review: 2013 KTM 300EXC

The 2013 KTM 300 EXC is equipped with the same technical features as its 250cc brother. The revolutionary DDS clutch feels fantastically light and smooth as well, and it carries on where others climb off.

Technology of the two-stroke engine has indisputable advantages, including a high power/displacement ratio and low weight. Its tried and tested chassis is tailor-made for extremely tough tracks, it results more performance and playful handling.

Extremely stable aluminium handlebars from Neken and new 2-component grips with KTM logo deliver excellent feeling and improved grip. It is equipped with both kick and electric starters, simplifies starting the bike in all situations and conditions.

The placement is in a longitudinal direction above the ignition, it is optimally protected and provides a decisive advantage in hard off-road use. Learn more about detail specification and new features equipped on 2013 KTM 300 EXC.

Engine and Transmission – Plenty of power from the bottom up and controllable rideability throughout the rev range, every rider can easily vary the power development between soft and aggressive in a matter of seconds. And the new reed valve block delivers perceptibly better acceleration and more homogeneous power development.

The newly developed cylinder head delivers smoother and more even responsiveness. New jets tuned to the modified cylinder head ensure even better rideability. Power-valve exhaust control, 6-speed transmission and electric starter well tested for 250cc and 300cc engine.

Chassis and Suspension – It has its own individual suspension setting that optimally tuned to weight and engine. While at the rear, a PDS shock absorber from WP Suspension works with a direct linkage to the upper side of the swingarm.

The wide range of setting options for rebound damping and high and low-speed compression damping are standard on KTM bikes. High quality CNC-machined hubs and black coated spokes increase corrosion resistance and centre the new, extremely stable, 7050 aluminium rims from Giant. New Maxxis Fim tyres are specially developed for excellent traction, very precise directional control and a long service life on 2013 KTM 300 EXC.

Motorcycle News: 2013 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Motogp Repsol 2013

In the last twenty years, the Fireblade has redefined the supersport class. Famous for providing performance, without compromising on control, it made the sports machine easier to use, yet maintained its thrilling ride.

The Honda CBR1000RR is the pinnacle of Honda’s open-class sport motorcycle development. Originally released as a 2004 model, the CBR 1000RR represents the current evolution from the CBR954RR, CBR929RR and CBR900RR sportbikes that came before it.

In 2013, the CBR1000RR will be available in two new colour versions: Tricolour and Repsol. The 2012 CBR1000RR built on the legacy of "total control" that had shaped its predecessors for 20 years since the introduction of its original ground-breaking forerunner, the CBR900RR, at the EICMA show in 1991.

Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade Motogp Repsol 2013

The Honda CBR1000RR is a return to the type of philosophy that made the original CBR900RR so popular: Take the performance envelope and make it big, make it encompass more than just one aspect of the riding experience.

When first released the CBR1000 was known for its powerful engine, aggressive look and high-build quality. But unfortunately it came at a cost of additional weight.

In its current iteration, the Honda CBR has slimmed down significantly and now benefits from numerous technical innovations derived from the Honda’s participation in the MotoGP world championship with the Honda RCV211 MotoGP motorcycle.

Powering the motorcycle is a compact 999cc liquid-cooled Inline-Four that utilizes such technologies as Dual Stage Fuel-Injection (DSFI) and a low-slung MotoGP-style exhaust system. Other innovations on the CBR1000 include Honda’s proprietary Ignition Interrupt Control System and unique cam-assist slipper clutch system.

In the chassis department, Honda’s CBR1000RR superbike benefits from a unique frame casting process as used on the Honda CBR6000RR, which minimizes the individual number of pieces that make up its frame.

The Honda CBR also uses an innovative Pro-Link rear suspension. A Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) provides additional rider control. For 2009 it is the first liter-class sportbike to offer Anti-lock brakes (ABS) as an option.

2013 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R ABS Review

Suzuki's new model presentation at Intermot could have been forgiven for thinking there was going to be a new Hayabusa. It turns out the Hayabusa remains largely unchanged.

The 2013 model comes newly equipped with Brembo Monobloc high-performance calipers and an Antilock Brake System (ABS). These features are sure to appeal to lone riders cruising the highway as well as touring couples.

Carefully sculpted bodywork tames the wind to maximize the more-than-ample power of the Hayabusa engine. Extensive wind tunnel testing with a rider onboard helped to find the ultimate shape for high-speed riding. The radical aerodynamic styling and smoother bodywork not only gives the Hayabusa its unique look but also protects the rider from the wind and improves fuel efficiency.

Suzuki engineered the Hayabusa to perform like a heavyweight boxer-muscular yet surprisingly agile. While riders rarely need to call on its full punch off the line, the overabundant power and fleet-footed performance inspire confidence in everyday riding. That restrained yet refined energy is the presence that turns heads when a Hayabusa and rider pass.

Hayabusa is equally at home on the highway or city streets. The low center of gravity that lets it conquer winding roads also makes Hayabusa a nimble urban predator.
