2015 Harley Davidson Street 750 and 500

Harley-Davidson revealed the all new Street 750 and 500 motorcycles in Milan, Italy last year. The unveiling was held during EICMA, one of the biggest motorcycle exhibitions in the world. This was the first time in its 110 year history that H-D participated in the exhibition and they did not disappoint.

The all new Street 750 and 500 evoke the old school c ool of a 1970's XLCR with its narrow stance and cafe' racer inspired speed screen. The cultural attitude of Dark Custom is all over this urban brawler, and at the heart of the H-D Street you will find a VROD inspired 60 degree liquid cooled vtwin engine.

The H-D Street was built for a whole new generation of global riders and you can count on seeing them right here in our showroom floor in Spring 2014! Help yourself to some bike specifications below as well as a complete slideshow of the new Street models.

Captain America Now Rides A Street 750 Harley Davidson

Via sponsorship of the X Games Aspen, Harley-Davidson just showcased a pair of ice-racing Street 750 around a frozen lake doing upwards of 100 mph. It’s all part of a campaign to demonstrate that The Street is an entry bike for the youngsters looking for adventure but who can be intimidated by a big cc number bike. “I’d venture to say we have been in extreme sports since the early 1900s with flat-track racing. When you think about it, and what kids do today, this bike is perfectly poised. It’s all authentic to the brand” says Dino Bernacchi, head of marketing communications.

And to build more excitement for young riders, the Spring’s release of Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” includes a harrowing chase scene where Captain America helps defend freedom aboard the new Harley-Davidson Street™ 750 motorcycle. Captain America, since his first introduction in 1941, has always been associated with riding a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle,” says Bernacchi. Now, in Marvel’s ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, he’ll ride a Harley® motorcycle built for the urban environment.”

2015 Yamaha FZ-07

Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon.

Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine. The engine uses a 270-degree crank, giving it what Yamaha calls its “crossplane concept”, promising a linear throttle response and reduced inertial torque. Yamaha claims a maximum output of 75 hp and 50.2 ft.-lbs.

Yamaha says the camshafts were designed to accentuate low- to mid-range power, delivering strong torque from 3000-6500rpm. Each cylinder has four stainless steel valves, with the intake valves set at 14 degrees and exhaust valves at 15 degrees to keep the combustion chamber compact. Yamaha Canada says valve adjustment intervals are every 40,000 km (24,855 miles)

2015 HARLEY DAVIDSON LIVEWIRE ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE BIKE

KTM has shown that a few years ago, Honda and Yamaha are not far away from mass production, and we would not be surprised either if the Italians prepare something.

For lovers of cruisers and retro style, I doubt that anyone thought that would be the legendary Harley-Davidson could have something in mind. Yet times are changing, to look at future products to the already crowded market of motorcycles and thereby to remain on top. So now Harley-Davidson introduces its project called LiveWire, electric motorcycles.

Therefore the company decided to slightly listened what the public thinks about this, and then to withdraw the final move. LiveWire project is specifically designed for the needs of insight into the requirements and expectations of drivers of electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle, starting next week, selected users worldwide will be able to drive and provide feedback.

American tour in 2014, which started its journey on Route 66, will visit more than 30 Harley-Davidson dealerships by the end of the year. In the 2015th year LiveWire Experience Project will continue in the U.S. and expand into Canada and Europe.

Harley-Davidson LiveWire will powered by engine capacity of 7 kWh, which is enough for some 130 km away. Top speed will be 150 km / h, while the 0-100 km / h achieved in 4 seconds. However, looking at the competition in the market is definitely not enough. But it remains to be seen how it will accept the drivers and what they will say.
