2015 Triumph Street Triple RX — Naked Daytonafied

Building a special edition machine for INTERMOT, the British have debuted the 2015 Triumph Street Triple RX, which is based off the Triumph Street Triple R. Borrowing from the Triumph Daytona 675 however, the Triumph Street Triple RX takes many styling points from its supersport cousin, namely the Daytona’s tail section.

Also coming in a matte silver with red accents, the Street Triple RX is channeling heavily on the Daytona, and even has a quickshifter to mimic the Dayton’s sport appeal. At the heart of the machine though is the same 675cc three-cylinder engine, that pumps out 106hp.

Mostly a cosmetic exercise from Hinkley, this is what we get to chew on, since Triumph canned its 250cc sport bike project. 20 high-resolution photos await you after the jump.

2014 Triumph Rocket III Touring - By Luusama

Triumph shows two new Rocket III flavors: the Roadster and the Touring. The Roadster is a "fly free" beast, as the torque limiter for the first three gears has been removed.
The 2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster is an intimidating beast and by all means one bike newbies must avoid. The Triumph Rocket III Touring was created for a long ride with smooth and powerful acceleration with any load and on any incline and yet flexible enough to carry two passengers.

2014 Triumph Rocket III Touring is powered by a 2294cc engine, liquid – cooled, in-line 3 – cylinder, DOHC, multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection with twin butterflies and progressive linkage on primary butterflies. It develops a maximum power of 106 hp at 6000 rpm and torque of 203 Nm at 2,500 rpm, mated to a 5 – speed gearbox and clutch wet, multi – plate.

2014 Triumph Speed Triple R & Gold Chrome Helmet

2014 Triumph Speed Triple R is embellished with new colors, richer equipment and more modern rear light.

While on the tech side, the new Speed Triple R remained unchanged, Triumph added some cosmetic tweaks to the new model year machine.

The most important change to the bike is the ABS, which is now standard equipment as opposed to the 2013 model, for which it was an option, available for extra bucks. The 1,050cc triple-cylinder power plant delivers 133 HP and 111 Nm (82 ft-lbs) of torque, just like the non-R version.

The main novelty is moving plastic cover from the additional standard equipment. So from now on Speed Triple R has a mask, shuttering the bottom of the unit and cover the passenger seat.

Displacement of 675cc, liquid- cooled, 12 – valve, DOHC, in- line 3 – cylinder, sequential electronic fuel injection with SAI . Transmission 6 -speed, close ratio, wet clutch, multi -plate.
Maximum power of 105 hp at 11850 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 9750 rpm.

Frame is aluminum beam twin – spar, front suspension Kayaba 41mm upside down forks with adjustable preload, rebound and compression damping, 115mm wheel travel and rear suspension Kayaba Monoshock with piggy back reservoir adjustable for rebound and compression damping, 135mm wheel travel.

2014 Royal Enfield 535cc Cafe Racer

Royal Enfield 535cc will be a "2014" model, because it is expected to be for sale in the United States so late in 2013 -  not until July or August.

~ Price is expected to be US$7,295.
~ It will have a larger single-cylinder motor — 535cc instead of Royal Enfield's standard 500cc.
~ Power jumps 9 horsepower to a supposed 36hp thanks to displacement, exhaust and tuning differences. (Royal Enfield horses are typically more Shetland than Clydesdale.)
~ It will be 47 pounds lighter than other Royal Enfields, weighing as little as 358 pounds.
~ The sophisticated new frame was designed by the same folks who design Ducatis.
~ It will come with a two-year unlimited warranty.

Accessories will include aluminum fenders instead of plastic; aluminum upper and lower triple trees; a single seat or a dual seat; two sets of exhaust systems; two styles of handlebars; steel, aluminum or plastic gas tanks; and different gear ratios available for use in a potential "spec racing" class.

The most obvious competition for the Cafe Racer is the Triumph Bonneville. That bikes makes 67bhp and 50lb/ft of torque, but weighs 495lbs (wet). Perhaps troublingly for Enfield, it retails for US$7,699 at a comparatively large number of dealers.

The Cafe Racer represents the first all-new design to come from Enfield in 50 years and with looks like these combined with high-quality suspension and brakes, it’s an encouraging sign of a new direction for the brand.

2013 TRIUMPH TIGER EXPLORER XC

The 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer XC is one of the relatively few modern motorcycles that I’d buy in a heartbeat. From a design perspective the Explorer has that angular, industrial look that I think will define many motorcycles from this period and ensure the bike’s place in history as a classic off-road tourer.
The XC model designation is the slightly higher spec’d version of the 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer base model, it comes with the same 1215cc triple cylinder engine producing 113hp and 75 ft-lbs of torque. It’s fitted with steel-spoked wheels with aluminum rims that are designed to use tubeless tires, this significantly simplifies puncture repair which is almost a full time job in and of itself on some off-oad trips.
That engine gets a tubular-steel framework on the Explorer XC, to prevent damage from drops, it also has an aluminium sump guard to stop large rocks from thumping into the bottom of the engine. The standard model 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer already comes with traction control, switchable antilock brakes and cruise control, making it one of the better equipped bikes in this segment of the market.
