Harley Davidson HD US Army Green Soldier Motorcycle MT500 Supplied By Armstrong
This Harley Davidson MT500 motorcycles were used to be built by a company called Armstrong. Harley bought the tooling from them and started building them in Pennsylvania.
Unique bikes, but a bit heavy & underpowered. However that is easily changed as they come with a bullitproof Rotax engine that can be made to put out 75+ streetable, reliable horsepower with some work. I've seen some of the flattrack guys with these engines putting out 90 HP. Try that with a KLR!
After a basic Rotax-engined design had been created in Italy, and been passed around SWM & Bombardier - the Armstrong-CCM company started supplying MT500 bikes to the UK army in 1984. Around 1987, the military motorcycle production was sold to Harley-Davidson, and they were built by H-D.A small number of electric-start MT500s are around. Never supplied to the British Army, but believed to have been used by the Jordanian and Canadian armies. Ex-army, these are probably badged M50. Some electric-start civilian MT500s exist in the UK market. This may have followed an attempt by Armstrong to build a Police-spec motorcycle, though we don't think the Police ever took them on. May be white, may have been 300 sold, some may be 560cc.
You may find these Harley Davidson Soldier Bikes in eBay! for few thousand bucks!
BMW Motorrad Red Hot K1 Sportbike looking like a Ferrari Motorcycle
The BMW K1 was an attempt by BMW to crack the sportbike market, as well as a conscious effort to change BMWs conservative image. An improved K100 with outrageous bodywork and graphics, the K1 certainly made a splash and changed how BMW was viewed in the marketplace.
From 1988-1993 fewer than 7,000 were sold and less than 600 came to the US. Offered up in our favorite red and yellow scheme, this one has got 26,500 miles still looks great. That reminds me a Ferrari Motorcycle instead!
Developed in the wind tunnel, upon release the K1 had the lowest drag coefficient of any production motorcycle. BMW introduced a number of technologies on this bike, including it’s first ABS system, the Paralever swingarm, a 16-valve in-line four and an improved engine management system. 520 pounds dry and with a 22 foot turning radius, the K1 wasn’t the nimble sportbike originally envisioned. Instead, it’s a fantastic high speed sport-touring highway machine.
Controversial when introduced, the look of the motorcycle still has some detractors. That it remains forward-looking and futuristic is a tribute to the original design and we love it. Also introduced in metallic blue, with later years getting a sharp black and yellow, the intense ketchup red/mustard yellow scheme is our favorite.
Although it looked great, the complex bodywork had flaws: it trapped heat and early models were reported to develop finish problems. We’d like more detailed photos, but, save for a small nick over the headight, the bodywork on this one looks great and is perhaps the key element in a well-bought K1.
Ferrari Motorcycle Scooter DOT & ECE Helmets
The Ferrari Rosso is an all-Italian helmet with a fresh take on the famous red racers. It is an official Ferrari licensed product and its glittering livery is sure to appeal to the many fans of Maranello’s Testa Rossa machines.
This is clearly a helmet that is manufactured with pride. Its shell is produced in advanced thermoplastic polymers, resulting in a low weight of just 950 grams. Four coats of paint are applied to each one, with a gloss varnish for a deep, lustrous finish, plus anti-scratch treatment to keep it looking good. A slender tricolour flag on a white background runs over the centre, finishing with the Prancing Horse over the brow.
Closer inspection reveals some neat touches, like the visor pivot covers which are designed to mirror the hub of Ferrari wheels and the interior fabric lining in Ferrari red. The lining material is Dupont technological fabric, with anti-allergic and anti-static properties.
The injection-moulded full-face visor has a smooth sliding action and is produced from scratchproof polycarbonate. The helmet is fastened with a quick-release ratchet buckle and is ECE 22-05 approved for road use.
In addition to Racing Red, the Rosso helmet is available in Modena Yellow and Black in sizes X-Small – X-Large, all with the tricolour flag stripe.
The retailing price is £179.99 including a helmet bag.

For 2012, Harley-Davidson V-Rod models continue to serve up explosive performance and urban-cool styling for riders seeking a singular power-cruiser experience.
All 2012 V-Rod models are powered by the latest version of the Revolution engine, a 1250cc liquid-cooled V-Twin with dual overhead camshafts, four-valve cylinder heads and Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI).

Motorcycle Review: Suzuki GSX 1250FA 2012
2012 Suzuki GSX1250FA, Engine GSX1250FA is certainly one of the best qualities of the motorcycle. With maximum torque at V-Twin rpm (72.3 Nm at just 3500) GSX noisy games of the corners of reliability, indicating its modest 92.6 hp at 8800 rpm figure stand.
A large number of low power real increases comfort and provides you never left wanting in the performance of high transmission or require immediate transfer of power. It should be noted, however, that as pleasant and convenient as with fuel-injected 1255cc inline four words, considering its movements, we hoped, at least three-digit horsepower numbers.
Surprisingly GSX1250FA attribute is its handling prowess, especially considering its high-tech tubular steel frame and 567-pound curb weight. It is no poster child Jenny Craig, but the canyons GSX manages his weight well and be easy to keep on the rear wheel faster, lighter bikes manned smaller riders.
Competitive models such as the new Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and Yamaha FZ1 easier and better handling, but without these bikes to play devil’s advocate, the operator GSX1250FA will go in ignorant bliss weight problems motorcycle.
The suspension is well balanced for the plusher side for a long time sitting comfort. It is only in the canyons during aggressive braking and cornering, when the weight of the motorcycle suspension sometimes depressing, but in another motorcycle 43mm fork and a rear shock GSX keep up.
Conducting a cost of $ 11,599, GSX1250FA is a bargain, especially when you consider, ABS is included in this price. If you’re in the market for a new motorcycle, which slots between the dedicated sport-bike coach and athletic standards, GSX1250FA should be in your list of considerations. Its biggest selling point is its engine, which provides locomotive power as when and where you need it, and its processing is easily surpassed our expectations.
