For the 2012 Ducati Monster 696, this sportbike is powered by L-Twin cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve for every cylinder Desmodromic with 696cc displacement engine. Ducati assigns Siemens to handle the electronic fuel injection with 2 aluminum mufflers exhaust. Just like other Ducati’s bikes, the transmission is in 6-speed.
