
Triumph shows off its new Tiger Explorer, a 1215cc three-cylinder adventure touring bike, which claims 135 bhp and 89 ft./lbs. The all new engine features ride-by-wire electronic system, which allows cruise control, switchable traction control and switchable ABS all as standard equipment.

Yamaha unveiled their new scooter, the TMax, at a theater in Milan. One of their best sellers worldwide, the new TMax features a 530cc liquid-cool twin-cylinder four-valve four-stroke that puts out about 46.5 hp at 6750 rpm. Dry weight is 478 lbs.

Honda, at the same time, had the world premiere of the Crosstourer, a 1237cc V4 that mixes sport bike and adventure touring features. The engine, the largest ever for a Honda adventure sports touring machine, is mated to Honda's Dual Clutch Transmission that has three riding modes; a choice of manual gear shifting and two fully automatic modes, one for general use (D-mode) and another for high performance riding (S-mode).
