Paris Hilton Goes Biker & Owns a 125-GP Motorcycle Team

Paris Hilton will now be hanging with bikers.

The hotel chain heiress who draws photographers wherever she goes will have her own team on the world motorcycling championship circuit.

The SupermartXe VIP by Paris Hilton team was unveiled by her in Madrid. It will compete in the 125cc category from 2011-2013. Hilton has agreed to attend at least five races next season.

“I can’t believe I have my own racing team! So cool! :)” Hilton posted on Twitter while at the launch.

Hilton wore a low-cut, pink and white, rhinestone-studded racing suit. Team riders Sergio Gadea and Maverick Vinales are expected to wear more reserved outfits.

  2. I somewhat understand your frustration. But Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki does not spend less than she will on her team. Hilton starting a team actually just gave 2 more riders the chance to race pro! "Dumb" moves like this by rich folk like that can keep motocross popular and going in a time the economy is still falling apart.

  3. As a woman, I'm not against her throwing money into motorcycling! Maybe more ladies will start riding.

I'm with the above two also. At least she's going Sportbike and not "biker" (despite what the title says).
Enough with the posers on putt-putt bikes -- "Learn to Turn!"

Maybe one day she can sponsor some of the upcoming women in roadracing -- "That's Hot!" indeed.

  5. I think she did the right thing, because she gave the chance (and the money ofcourse)to two more riders to compete at the world championship!
